On the evening November 27, 2017 Our Lord and Savior called home to Glory his daughter Lillie Viola “Vi” Martin-Elliott.

Lillie was born in Carthage, NC on December 16, 1938 to the late Ed and Josephine Martin.  Lillie graduated from Pinkney High School in Carthage, NC. For many years Lillie was a dedicated worker and servant to the Lord as a member of Stone’s Chapel Baptist Church, Inc. Later years in Life she affiliated herself with several churches and was a willing worker wherever she attended.

Lillie is preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Robert Elliott, her sister Vilena Brown, and brother James “Sonny Boy” Martin.

As she departs this earthly life she leaves to cherish her memories one daughter: Patricia M. Martin of Winston Salem, NC and two sons: Gary B. Martin (Gloria) of Fuquay Varina NC and Robert Wayne Elliott (Shirlene) of Carthage NC; three grandsons: D’Wayne A. Martin, Alaric S. Martin, De’Gary A. Martin; one granddaughter: Zhane’ Patrice Elliott and one great granddaughter: Aaliyah Renne’ Martin. Her sisters; Almeta McNeil, Bernice Williams (Sam) both of Carthage, NC, Blanchie Lewis of Asheboro NC, Linda McCoy of Carthage, NC, Darlene Martin of Charlotte; brothers; Lee Daniel “Pete” Martin(Bonnie) of Asheboro, NC and Alton “BoBo” Martin of Carthage, NC; host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
