Dorothy Ann Williams of Carthage NC passed on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on November 25, 1941.  Dorothy is the daughter of the late Grady Williams and Gladys B. Williams of Carthage.

Dorothy is survived by three children, Charles A. Williams(Valencia) of Sumter, S.C., Lisa C. Williams of Baltimore, Md and Kevin E. Williams of Southern Pines, N.C.  She is also survived by two brothers, Thomas Williams of Fayetteville, N.C. and Harold Williams(Ruth) of Jackson Springs, N.C. and three sisters, Gladys Norris of Baltimore, Maryland, Lillie Gentry of Durham, N.C. and Catherine Cozart of Durham, N.C. Cherishing her memories are five grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a host of cousins, in-laws and friends that were like angels sent from heaven. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Rivers of Los Angeles, Ca.
