Ms. Nellie Christian (Wall) Capel

Nellie Christian Wall, daughter of the late John & Lula Wall was born in Anson County, North Carolina January 8, 1924 and departed this life February 17, 2020.

At an early age she confessed Christ and joined Ebenezer Baptist Church. She attended School in Anson County and later in life she returned to school and received her GED. She enrolled in Montgomery Technical College and received a degree in floristry. She opened and ran Eagle Spring Florist for 30 years.

In 1937 she was united in holy matrimony to the late Lester Capel Sr. to this union nine children were born. She helped everyone willingly all of her life. Baking was one of her true talents. She baked pies and cakes for everyone in the community. She will be missed by everyone that knew her and loved her.

She was preceded in death by: the love of her life Lester Capel Sr. two sons, Lester Capel Jr. and James Thomas Capel and one daughter Lair Ruth Brower.

She leaves to cherish her memories: five daughters, Katie Bryant, Shirley Bennett (Henry), Vernell Mayo, Serita Gailin (Claude) and Marchella Miller. One son Rev. Charles Capel (Veronica) and one son-in-law Willie Brower. Thirty-two grandchildren, eighty great grandchildren and fifty-four great great grandchildren. One sister-in-law Ruth Gainey of Charlotte, NC a very close and dear friend Mrs. Della Townsend. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
