Minnie Pearl Edwards 73 of Sanford gained her wings on Friday, April 28, 2022 at her home.

Minnie Pearl Edwards was born on February 21, 1949 in Wake County, NC to Louis Perry and Etta Mae Evans Perry. Minnie Pearl was a loving, caring and compassionate woman who had no problem helping anyone if they needed her. She leaves to cherish her memories her three daughters; Hazel Council and Etta McKeithen of Sanford, NC and Frances McKeithen of Fayetteville, NC. One son Howard McKeithan, Fayetteville, NC. Eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Sisters: Edith Huff, Sanford, NC; Patricia Lovett, Rocky Mount, NC. Brother Robert Harrington (Willie Mae), Queens, N.Y. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
