Henrettia Caviness McLaughlin daughter of the late General Harrison (Babe) and Mary Cheek Caviness, and wife of the late Elder Robert L. McLaughlin Sr. was born in Moore County on August 6, 1926. She passed away from this world at her home August 5, 2018 at around 10:00pm she was the last of her tribe.

She was a great daughter an excellent wife a wonderful mother, and a very good friend. The mistakes she made in her life were not meant to do anyone harm. She meant to do good to everyone. She was saved at an early age and lived that life the rest of her life. She never looked back.

She is survived by two sons, Robert L. McLaughlin Jr. and Stanley W. Caviness, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends, too many to list here.
