Everin Burnett Rogers Obituary

Everin B. Rogers was born January 5, 1941, in Cameron, NC to the late Bennie and Ethel Rogers. He was one of seven siblings.


He attended Johnsonville High School and graduated in the class of 1961. His religious foundation and rearing was in the Holiness “Church Church of God” which he purchases with His Own Blood.


After graduation he relocated to New York City and resided there until his retirement. After retirement he later returned back home top help provide care for his father.


 In his later walk with God he joined Fellowship House of God under the leadership of Bishop Willie Gilmore. He was quiet but enjoyed the church. He loved sports and family time with the family. He had a special niece Hazel Andrews which was his “UBER” driver.


He was preceded in death by his parents Bennie and Ethel Rogers, one brother Bennie Lee Rogers, and one sister Mary Ella Leach.


Left to cherish his memories, a daughter Mariah Sedacy, Jersey City, four sisters, Geneva Davis, Cameron, NC, Mary E Williams, Carthage, NC, Patsy Pender (James) New York, NY, and Nellie Pearsall, Goldsboro, NC. Adopted sisters and brothers: Louise Holman, Washington, DC, Minister Sarah Elliott, Cameron, NC, Carrie George, Gaffney, SC, George Elliott, Cameron, NC Jessie Elliott, Lobelia, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
