Quentin Orlando Belk

Quentin Orlando Belk was born in Moore County on July 4, 1986 to the late Fredrick Joel Smith and Jacqueline Renee Smith. He was called to his eternal home on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC.

 “Bam Bam” as he was called by many, graduated from Union Pines High School in 2004, he ran track and played on the Varsity football team. He attended Fellowship House of God at an early age, and was employed by Carolina Crate and Pallets in Vass N.C. for four years, where he was thought of highly.

He married his best friend, the love of his life Jayme Belk on September 24, 2016; they have one daughter Kirah whom he loved unconditionally.

Bam Bam was a family man and lived to provide for his family. He loved spending time with his wife and his extended family. He loved the Carolina Panthers, Baltimore Ravens, and LA Lakers. 

He was preceded in death by sibling Jermaine McKeithan; and his aunt, Annette Norwood.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Jayme Danea’ Belk; one daughter, Kirah; mother, Jacqueline Smith of Cameron NC; grandmother, Ruther Belk; mother-n-law, Kay Rogers (Scottie) of Lakeview NC; Father-n-law, James Morgan (Wanda) of Aberdeen NC; brothers, Lewis & Jeremy McKeithan, Sanford NC; Fredrick Belk (Vanessa) Cameron, NC, Michael Smith, Cameron NC; sisters, Kamilah Davis, Sanford, NC; Shalanda Smith, Hamlet, NC; Latasha Petty (Jeffrey) Sanford, NC; sister-in-law, Brionna McKeithen; uncles, Leon Smith (Linda); Johnny Smith (Veta); Willie Smith (Vera); George Smith (Diane); Andrew Smith; James Belk, Ronnie Belk, Ernest Belk; aunts, Bobbie Jordan; Helen Tomlinson (James); Patricia Smith;  Sharon Belk, Bertie Phillip; great uncle, Terrance Jones; great aunts, Ellen Brewington (Henry); Luvenia Jones; Shirley Gilchrist; Catherin Canty; Grace Woolard (Herman); Willeteen Jackson; Laura Chalmers; Betty Mainor; special god-parent, Phillis Sheppard; a special cousin Spencer Dowd; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
