Bobby Ray McLaughlin

Mr. Bobby Ray McLaughlin was born on March 2, 1947 in Moore County, North Carolina. He departed this life on October 11, 2019 at First Health Moore ‘Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
 
At an early age, he joined New Bensalem Baptist Church. Bobby attended North Moore High School in Robbins, North Carolina. After high school, he attended barber school at the Harris Barber College in Raleigh, North Carolina. Upon graduating from barber school, Bobby moved to New York where he worked for Warmack’s Barber Shop and the Town of Hempstead. After which, he served his country well in the United States Army with an honorable discharge. After his military service, Bobby was employed with the Capitol Area Transit in Raleigh, North Carolina for approximately 20 years until his retirement. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. 
He was preceded in death by his father (Baxter McLaughlin), mother (Lessie McLaughlin) and brothers (Eugene, Curtis, Phillip).

Leaving impressions in our hearts which will never fade away, he is survived by:

 Toniette McLaughlin – Upper Marlboro, Maryland Lori McLaughlin – Whitsett, North Carolina Dulcia Gore – Rincon, Georgia Iyanna McLaughlin – Lillington, North Carolina
Two Sons: 
Bobby McLaughlin, Jr. – Raleigh, North Carolina Cornelous Redmond - Raleigh, North Carolina
Two Brothers:
Earl McLaughlin – Raleigh, North Carolina Rev. Oscar McLaughlin – Highfalls, North Carolina
 

One Sister:

Linda McLaughlin-Carthage, North Carolina

Three Sisters-In-Law: 
Grace McLaughlin – Siler City, North Carolina Rev. Helen McLaughlin – Greensboro, North Carolina Amelia McLaughlin – Greensboro, North Carolina
