Christine Thomas Ray, 75 years old of Aberdeen, North Carolina, went home to her Lord on Saturday January 20th, 2018 at home.  Christine Thomas Ray was born on March 31st, 1942 in Pinehurst, NC to the late Wesley Thomas and Ethel Bell Stubbs of Moore County, NC. 

She was previously married to James H. Ray of Aberdeen, North Carolina. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She was employed at Gulistan Carpet where she later retired.  She also worked part time at Pinehurst Resort where she met her dear friend Rachel Flowers.

She is survived by her two sisters Dorothy Green of Aberdeen, NC, and Louise Cummings of GA.  She has left behind to cherish her memories three daughters, Debra Galbreath of Vass, NC, Denise Core, of Aberdeen, NC and Kimberly Ray of Aberdeen, NC;  two sons, James Ray Jr., of Aberdeen, NC and Jarvis Ray of Wilson, NC. She has four granddaughters, six grandsons and ten great grand children.  Christine devoted part of her life to raising Foster Children where she contributed to and raised many.
